Forlancer Refund Policy
Forlancer gives you facility of payment refund
for your subscriptions as well as for your any payment deposits.
You can make a request for the refund on Forlancer. Generally, it may take 3-5 business days to complete the refund process as these are the standard process from payment gateway partner. You can check your refund progress status in Payment > Transaction History section
Deposit refunds (i.e. refunds directly to your payment provider) can be performed by our Customer Support team, based on the Order’s original payment amount and currency. To prevent fraud and abuse, we limit the total amount of times users can request a payment provider refund, which is subject to review by our Customer Support team. Such refunds may be subject to an additional fee.
Transaction fee and standard tax charges by our payment gateway partner will not be refunded. This fee and standard tax charges are applicable for each transaction. The transaction fee for domestic transaction in India is 2% and 3% fees for international cards (outside of India).
Refund for Subscription
For any service subscription, there are 14 days money-back guarantee. You can request for payment refunds within 14 days. Refund request after 14 days from the transaction will not be applicable and will not be refunded.
Refunds for Deposit
You can deposit payment on Forlancer to use it anytime in future. But if in case you decide not to move forward, your deposit will be refunded completely.
You can simply request for refunds by logging into Forlancer account in payment deposit section. You can request a refund from subscription settings.
Refused Refund Request or Refund Failures
There are some situations where it is not possible to refund a payment received on a virtual account. These are listed below:
If the freelancer or agency declines to give a refund or you don’t hear back at all, you may still be able to dispute the charges.
IMPS Payments made from a small number of banks that do not share the payer's account number and such payments cannot be automatically refunded
Payments made from Non-Resident External (NRE) bank accounts. In such cases, Razorpay is not permitted to deposit money into the account and it is not possible to process a refund.
In each of these cases, if a refund is still necessary, you can provide alternate bank account details and raise a request on the Support Portal to initiate a refund.
